Corrosive Divagations at Galería D’Museo Caracas

The ‘Divagation’ series is an ongoing collaboration with Nayarí Castillo, in which we combine spoken word and electronic or electroacoustic sound, bringing these two layers together simultaneously without temporal intervention. The third instance, ‘Corrosive Divagations’ was originally conceived for the celebration of the 2014 Art’s Birthday. For the participation in the exhibition Espada del Augurio, the English text was translated to Spanish, and we recorded the performance with Nayari’s voice and Hanns’ electroacoustic materials passing through metal objects, and contrasted it with an almost still video scene.
