Azoiphon (2000)

A first album is always something curious when looked at from a distance. Made in 1999 and 2000, «Azoiphon» (meaning something like pre-organic world which itself is meant partly ironic) reflects my then musical background, including elements of electro, intelligent dance and ambient music, certainly not noise or electroacoustic music. Nevertheless, the pieces are compact and well made and contain a certain glimpse of aspects which are still relevant for me today – for example the concept of animism or demonism in gestural sound objects.
